How Access Works

What each tier unlocks right now

This is the live access structure today. Access is set per episode as each series is published, rather than fixed by season boundaries.

  • Free: Episode 1 is free to read, with public Vault access and read-only community access.
  • Verified: Episode 2 requires a free account with a verified email, while community access remains read-only.
  • Initiate: Paid access from Episode 3 onwards, plus the ability to post in TGK Community.
  • Adept: Deeper paid releases, with exact cutovers set per series and announced as episodes go live.

Cutover is episode-specific and may differ between series as releases land.

Membership Activation Keys

TGK uses Reputation Keys to recognise meaningful support, contribution, and participation across the platform. Activation bonuses currently work as follows:

  • Free → Initiate: +10 Reputation Keys
  • Initiate → Adept: +10 additional Reputation Keys
  • Free → Adept: +30 Reputation Keys
  • Founder membership activation: +40 Reputation Keys

These activation bonuses recognise early support for the institution. They do not replace earned participation.

Founder Keys recognise institutional support, not automatic authority. Governance eligibility, Community Court roles, and higher-trust functions may still require minimum reputation thresholds, account standing, and meaningful community contribution.

Can I change my tier later?

Yes. If you are on a paid plan, you can manage, change, or cancel it through the billing portal.

Do I need an account for free content?

Not for public reading. You only need an account for bookmarks, email verification, and member features.

What does Verified unlock?

A verified free account unlocks Episode 2. It does not unlock community posting.

Is Adept live yet?

Yes. Adept is live, and episodes marked for Adept require that tier to unlock.

How secure is payment?

Stripe handles all billing. The Gnostic Key does not store your card details.
