Episode IV: The Nullification Spell: Discussion

This thread is dedicated to discussion of Episode IV of SYSTEMIC: The Nullification Spell. Use this space to examine jury nullification as the buried conscience power inside common law: how it survives in doctrine, how it is suppressed in courtroom practice and judicial direction, and why systems under pressure are so keen to keep it inaudible. Focus on the documentary record, specific cases, judicial instructions, and the gap between what the law permits and what the court permits jurors to know. Counter-arguments are welcome where grounded in evidence and articulated in good faith. Speculation, abuse, or unfounded claims are not appropriate here. I would particularly like to hear which suppression mechanism felt most decisive to you, and whether you think nullification still functions as a conscience valve under current conditions.
