About The Great Return

The Great Return is the unifying comparative enquiry within The Teachings. It examines recurring ideas of death, judgement, renewal, liberation and return across spiritual and philosophical traditions.

Each season changes the scale of the question. The first examines the journey of the soul. The second will examine the fate of societies, worlds and ages. The third will consider the larger metaphysical architecture in which both journeys take place.

The traditions are studied in their own terms before similarities and disagreements are compared. The purpose is not to force them into one doctrine, but to understand what each map reveals.
